Established in 1975, the Staff Selection Commission is responsible for recruiting staff for various posts in various different departments and ministries of the government of India and in the subordinate offices. Currently, SSC is an autonomous body, which is mainly conducting various competitive examinations. SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, junior engineer, SSC multitasking, Hindi translator, Central police organization, Stenographer, etc are some of the exams conducted by SSC.
SSC Exam is commonly known as SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level Exam), which is aimed for recruiting employees to various different departments, ministries, and organizations of the Indian Government. Staff Selection Commission is conducting this examination for selecting staff for various positions in Group A and B. Established in 1975, SSC hires the best staff by conducting competition exams.
Scope of SSC

The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL exam relates to age limits, educational qualifications, and physical standards. The candidates must have a Bachelor’s or graduate degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university to appear for SSC exams. Every year, SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination that consists of 4 phases. The candidate needs to be cleared each phase as per the requirements of different posts. There will be 4 Tiers in SSC CGL examinations, they are Tier 1, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV.
